Sutherland Newel Post 170 is 117mm x 117mm in section. It is usually used for the bottom and top newel of a stair where standard handrail configuration is used.

The Sutherland design is a traditional barley twist shape

To achieve the 117mm section these posts are laminated from selected timber.
