A Newstead Twist Volute Newel is used with a feature Craftsman's Choice volute handrail fitting at the bottom of the stair.

The Newstead Twist has a rope twist and is made to high standards by skilled craftsmen.

To achieve the 117mm section these posts are laminated from selected timber.
